Our commitment to the personal safety of all workers, employees and of others third parties can be summed up as: “Think first, Work Safely”.
- Our engineering delivery methods are highly focused on Safety.
- We put strategies into planning that will enhance the safety performance of the projects we deliver.
- We drive safety with the elimination of class 1 risk together with key performance indicators in the reduction in lost time by injury.
- We encourage a safety culture from top down with all stakeholders involved in the safety success of our projects.
- Senior management is committed to high standards in Occupational Health and Safety and Welfare through planning, setting targets, allocation of resources and achieving target outcomes
- Adequate training is provided for managers, supervisors and employees to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet their responsibilities in this area.
- Adequate systems, procedures and equipment are provided to all employees.
HSE Implementation Plan
SAJ HSE Department is a team of well-competent safety professionals which holds experiences from major clients. Our HSE team is well knowledge with applicable regulations and implementation of HSE Plans. As a part of continual improvement, we have developed HSE procedures and plans as part of the system. We developed Safety Policy which integrated in IMS policy to show the management commitment towards the health safety and wellness of our employee.
Our HSE department objective is to make awareness and educate our team members and concern parties about HSE in order to create a safe workplace that helps in reducing the number of incidents and accidents by eliminating the workplace hazard and risks, applying additional and adequate control measures and proper monitoring of the activities to ensure that OHSAS and OSHA standards are followed.
We have implemented Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Policy which assures the use of PPE in site during construction activity. We have implemented No Smoking Policy in all our site and offices. All our site and offices are treated as NO Smoking areas and smoking allowed only in designated identified areas.
Integrated Management System Policy
- Provide high quality and reliable services to meet or exceed clients’ expectations.
- Provide and maintain company clean environment, and safe workspace.
- Optimizing the use of natural resources and minimizing pollution and adopt good environmental practises. Prioritize Safety and health issues all time. Adopt and apply appropriate preventive actions to minimise incidents and accidents.
- Comply with legislative and regulatory requirements for safety and health.
- Ensure all employees , suppliers and contractors have their own responsibilities about safety and health applicable.
- Provide adequate instructions, training, and supervision for safety and health related issues including instructions and training and KPIs.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure quality services and improve the management system

- We understand that Clients are in rush and planning phase might not be perfect, creating issues and challenges, thus we expect proper selection for people /project staff will play a major role in the outcome, experience, quality skills , ability to manage and lead and communicate are going to be a paramount for the selection.
- SAJ employ and deploy experienced people including senior staff to direct and lead projects to success, ensuring proper preparations and planning, proper management and mitigation for risks.
